Answer from: PyroThe titles King/Queen and Emperor/Empress have to do with the number of territories you annex. I think it's 2 that gets you the title of King/Queen and 4 get's you Emperor/Empress. I'm not sure how you go about annexing kingdoms though so you might want to google search that information but from what I understand that's how you change your title.
