USB 2.0 transfer speed up to 480 Mb/sec. Great enclosure but only one problem. It read both my 2TB HDD’s but you have to format when you switch between modes.
The HDD enclosure was great except it has that auto-spindown feature of some enclosures. Basically after a certain time with inactivity it shuts off the HDD and then spin back up when you go to access something. I was using this as a media enclosure hooked to my TV.It gets annoying having to spin up again.
I called customer service but they don’t have a firmware update to shut off this feature. So its a good HDD.
