First bosses are a rite of passage in the Dark Souls series, and the first boss in Dark Souls 3 is no different. Here’s how to get the latest instalment started right. Once gamers have vanquished Gundyr, they’ll be rewarded with the Coiled Sword key item and the sense that maybe, just maybe, they’ll survive the harrowing yet enjoyable Dark Souls 3 experience. Dark Souls 3 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Maybe the most obtuse part of Dark Souls III for the starting player is its leveling system. You have all these souls you accumulate that you can bring to a character in the Firelink Shrine, and once you have enough, you can buy a new level, which allows you to increase a single character stat by one point.
PvE Builds for Dark Souls 3 are character and equipment recommendations that focus your character on solo and cooperative play against regular AI enemies and bosses. Builds listed in this page are created and categorized by players, therefore you should not assume they are all optimized.
For help on creating your own build, see the pageHow to create and add your build. Create a wiki page with your build name and add the info/links. To create a page, click the New Page + link at the bottom of the page and select 'Build' template. Edit this page by ADDING A ROW to the table below with a link to the page you created and an overview. You can use our and produce a link to add to your page.

More info in my link!237Do You Want to Destroy?! A build inspired by PvP Skillz. Pontiff Hunter, basically.
Stats: Attunement: 14 (for 2 slots) DEX and Endurance: 40 INT and Faith: 12 or 14 (enough for Carthus Beacon) Attune the rest as you please. Weapons: Right Hand: Sellsword Twinblades or Gravewarden Twinblades Left Hand: Pyromancy Flame and Old Wolf Curved Sword Rings: Pontiff's Left Eye Ring, Pontiff's Right Eye Ring, Chloranthy Ring +2, Lingering Dragoncrest Ring+2 The idea is to use the healing and attack bonus effect from Pontiff's ring and the Curved Sword to sustain an aggressive playstyle.
The nice thing about the Old Wolf Curved Sword is you don't need to attack with it to get the affect, you just need to have it equipped. Which is perfect for the twinblades. Carthus Beacon pyromancy with the dragoncrest ring is to add to the attack bonus for the aggressive play. Armor doesn't matter, but you need the fast roll. No parry and no blocking means you will have to be on point with your dodges and stamina management.
So I like to go with fashion souls. Really fun build to play.
But getting the Old Wolf Curved Sword is kind of a pain in the butt. Saw a Link build here and there, and if anyone wants to do a link challange; Invlolves as much gear as possible to reference the many iterations of Link. If someone has posted this build before, my bad, I have not seen it. I have a build! (I'm not a member and I'm poop at web page stuff, sorry) Name: The Judge (please don't mock the edginess) SL: 105 Starting class: Mercinary Burial Gift: any/none Stats: VIG: 25 ATT: 15 END: 20 VIT: 20 STR: 20 DEX: 50 INT: 20 (for his/her signature weapon) FTH: 15 LCK: 10 Weapons: Friede's Scythe +5 Talisman (optional) Description: Badass build that uses a scythe as his/her only weapon, great in PVE and pretty decent in PVP.
Wears a mixture of medium armour to keep him/herself mobile and protected. Lorian's Crown looks especially badass. In PVE: harvest the mindless fools' souls and judge the mighty. In PVP: be respectful; resist the urge to be cheap with the special scythe attack, use it only occasionally and DON'T SPAM; always gesture; if opponent is being cheap, disrespectful or attacking you while you gesture, judge his/her sorry ass and go full Friede on them. Join Darkmoon Covenant for Role Play purposes.
DON'T GANK (unless you are a Darkmoon phantom; duty before all else, after all) Sorry for cluttering the comments but I just want to inspire people to be more creative with their PVE and PVP. It gets tiring to see the same suits of armour (I'm looking at you Fallen Knight set) and weapons. I know I focused a lot on PVP, but this build started as PVE and is still focused on it).
Dark Souls 3 Farm Souls
For easy PvE. This are the stats you are going for.
Raise dex to 12, strength to 34, then vitality 20 and endurance 20, Then you can put points as you want but you need to get to bellow written stats. Vig - 20 dex - 12 int - 10 end - 40 vit - 20 str - 50 Equipment -Weapons- THRALL AXE - dropped by those little sneaky bastards(Thralls) found everywhere in the game. Only non dagger weapon in the game that has quickstep i think. Use quickstep instead of rolling and to transverse hard terrain like the flooded woods. A good early - mid game weapon. Especialy usefull to run away from mobs and evan run into them.
Use this to get hold of Millwood axe from the DLC area. MILLWOOD BATTLE AXE - It can be found in the tower where there are millwood knights om the DLC area. Its special skill makes the character dash a few steps and then warcry. This will help you in two ways. Firstly warcry gives a damage boost. Secondly the dashing can stagger any opponent who is humanoid sized and in the way, giving you atleast two free hits and braking non hyper Armour attack animations.
Sister Friede is easy once you bump into her like a savage with a millwood axe. The stagger happens multiple times. You need to bump into them when they are standing still or starting an attack, Dont warcry against attacks with hyper armour frames like the special attacks of greatswords.Shielded up enemies will not stagger. Really a Great weapon in PvE. MillWood GreatBow - This is a bow and will shoot exploding arrows.
This is for late game. Use any other bow till then for kiting. Curse Ward Greatshield - This shield allows the weapon skill to be used while its equiped.
Use this untill you can get your hands on Moaning Shield Moaning Shield - Once you get your hands on this its all a piece of cake. Its available in late game. You wont need the quick step or the Manly March of millwood axe. Cast magic shield on the Moaning shield and notice that every attack against your shield will do 'ABSOLUTE 0.00 STAMINA DAMAGE' -Armour- You dont need any specific armour. Its fashion souls:D -Rings- Chloranthy ring- for stamina regen Linguring Dragoncrest Ring - for when you start using Moaning shield and magic shield. This will extend the time of the spell.
Heval Ring - for equip load.
