Hi:Did you install the standalone Intel HD graphics driver? If so, that is probably the reason it isn't working.I have a question for you.How did you get W8 Pro to install without doing the W8 Anytime Upgrade?Anyone I have heard from, reports that if they install from a W8 pro upgrade disk or flash drive, the W8 standard key populates the installation, gives and invalid product key error and that is the end of that, because there is no provision to change the product key.So I have been informed. So I can't see that Intel driver installed. I've tried DriverView and can't identify it.All I did was a new install of W8 Pro, then try to apply the HP drivers for various devices. All work except the grapohics and it's as if the Radeon HD 8330 is not there any more.I only see one display adapter, the MS one and the HP Assistant tells me that 'Graphics Device 1: MS Basic Display Adapter'Device Manager only shows one Display Adapter and I have no unrecognised devices.Given the AMD install checker tells me I don't have a supported graphics card, then this basic driver must be grabbing the device and not allowing anything else access. Is there a way of disabling this basic adapter or uninstalling it? If I disable or uninstall from Device Manager it just comes back. This was working OK with the factory installed version of W8, is Pro not actually supported?

Microsoft Basic Display Adapter Resolution

Restore tabs edge. Intel HD graphics drivers asked me to restart, and so I did. Now, whenever I go into DXDIAG, Intel HD Graphics is displaying instead of Microsoft Basic Display Driver. That's progress, at least when I fire up something like Team Fortress 2 it's running at 60FPS. Now I just need to figure out how to use my 840m instead of Intel HD. My display adapter driver in Windows 10 is showing as the “Microsoft Basic Display Adapter” instead of the specific driver for my graphics card.
