This may/might not be the cause for the command prompt to open and close automatically. You may follow the steps below to keep the command prompt open. Open an elevated Command Prompt window. To open an elevated Command Prompt, click Start, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and then click run as administrator. 5.Try to press “prt scr” button when command prompt flashes(if possible) and paste it into wordpad to see what it is. 6.Check your registry entries by finding any corrupt or missing entry and try to remove it. You can use Autoruns software to automatically check the registry. Step 1, Open Start. Click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen, or find the Windows logo key on your computer's keyboard and press it. If you're using Windows 8, instead place your mouse cursor in the top-right side of the screen and then click the magnifying glass icon in the pop-out window.Step 2, Type command prompt into Start. Doing so will search your computer for the Command Prompt program.Step 3, Click Command Prompt. It's the black box at the top of the Start.
Hi, so I bought and upgraded to windows 10 today. All day long, at random intervals, I have a CMD window opening up and closing itself almost instantly with about 6 lines of text.Unfortunately it happens so fast that I can't catch a glimpse of what it's really doing. Are there any methods of disabling CMD from being launched(i doubt it but hey) or is there any way to figure out which process is causing this?
